Datastay's technology provides a no-programming approach that allows companies to plug together pre-built 'building blocks' to control their most critical business processes.  Whether starting with any of our out-of-the box solutions templates which include product lifecycle management, business process management, quality management, new product introduction management, or developing their own, our customers are able to rapidly deliver on-demand solutions in order to build success throughout their organizations. 

Job Description

Do you have prior success in opening up new territories, experience opening new business through calling on key decision makers? Are you highly money motivated and do you have a strong desire to win? Ready to join an emerging company in the exciting world of on-demand technology?

As part of the sales and marketing team you will be responsible for the complete sales cycle (active prospecting of customers, identification and analysis of customers/prospects needs, drafting, negotiation and management of proposals up to contract signature, and follow-up). You will leverage the efforts of the lead generation team to develop and grow new opportunities. You will advise/sell the best solutions and ensure an excellent personalized relationship, based on an in-depth knowledge of the needs of each customer and Datastay`s offerings. Cold-calling, generating referrals and introductions, and steering conversations to get the information you want are key aspects of your responsibilities. A strong and independent work ethic is a must, as is being goal oriented and having excellent listening and learning skills. Experience in SaaS, software or technology sales a major plus.

  • You are a high-energy individual with a hunter mentality desire to close deals.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills, as you will be dealing with decision makers.
  • A team member with a positive attitude and an entrepreneurial passion for building a business.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines. 
  • 2-3 years IT sales background is a plus.
