Friction Materials Standards Institute 2010 Annual Meeting

The Friction Materials Standards Institute (FMSI) Annual Membership Meeting will be held at the Longboat Key Club in Longboat Key, Florida. This year's meeting will be held from Saturday June 5th through Sunday June 6th.

There will be two major speakers at this year's meeting including Dennis DesRosiers, a leading analyst of the North American automotive industry who will discuss the developing changes in the automotive industry and the impact of those changes in the aftermarket. Also speaking with be Ken Hammann, a retired GM executive with over 37 years of experience working on various GM vehicle programs.

There will also be the routine reports concerning contributors to FMSI, brake performance developments, environmental issues, budgets, fees, etc. There will also be several opportunities,both formal and informal, to to discuss the future of the FMSI electronic catalog powered by Datastay.

AAPEX 2009 In Las Vegas

The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX) is the annual business-to-business trade show representing the global automotive aftermarket, held at the Sands Expo Center during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in conjunction with the SEMA Show.

Datastay will be exhibiting at the AAPEX show (The Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo) for the very first time alongside their customer, the Friction Materials Standards Institute (FMSI) at Booth # 779 in Las Vegas November 3th to the 5th. The AAPEX/SEMA 2009 conference is reserved for automotive industry professionals with more than 132,000 in attendance last year.
